The Lalique Museum has Tourisme et Handicap certification for mental and physical disabilities.
Physical access
The Lalique Museum is totally accessible for people in wheelchairs and parents with pushchairs. You are advised to park on car park 1 opposite the museum entrance so you can use the access ramps to take you into the museum. The museum itself is on the ground floor, with no steps.
The museum has two wheelchairs, a walker and a number of folding stools that visitors may borrow. You’ll be asked to leave an identity document to guarantee the loan.
Visitors with a mental disability
The Lalique Museum is also perfectly suited to visits by visitors with a mental handicap, as it is very visual and it is possible to approach the visit with the focus on the senses.
Visitors who are blind or partially sighted
The Lalique Museum is not equipped for visitors with a visual deficiency to be totally autonomous, but there are a number of aids that can provide considerable assistance such as introductory texts in Braille or large print. At the end of the visit, a touch-screen table allows visitors to « feel » the production process of the emblematic Lalique Bacchantes vase.
