The Lalique museum is located in Alsace, in the very village where the factory is situated, the brand’s only crystal production site. Each year, it highlights a new theme in its summer exhibition, to complement the chronological presentation (from Art Nouveau jewellery to contemporary crystal, Art Deco glass and perfume bottles) in the permanent collections. After jewellery in 2024, architecture and decoration will take centre stage in 2025.

In 1925, the International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts was held in Paris. René Lalique took part in many aspects of this exceptional event, which is the starting point for the exhibition that will be on show in Wingen-sur-Moder from 1 May to 2 November 2025.
The exhibition, entitled ‘René Lalique, architecte et décorateur’ (René Lalique, architect and decorator), will focus on the context, using large-format photographs, period documents and glass decorative elements to take visitors on a journey through time.

The exhibition will then focus on the fountains created by René Lalique, in particular those that adorned the Champs-Elysées, as well as his creations to decorate boutiques, whether for couturiers or perfumers, and his work on private mansions, starting with his own in Paris.
Finally, visitors will be able to continue their wanderings through the museum’s permanent collections, where a QR code system will enable them to make the link between the objects on display and the architecture or decoration.
