Pierrefonds vase
Created in 1926

The motif of the Tourbillons (Whirlwind) vase and the handles of the Pierrefonds vase, both created in 1926, feature the same wrought iron croziers Lalique used to support the chandeliers he created for the Galerie des Champs-Elysées the same year.

René Lalique contributed to the decoration of this luxury shopping arcade, creating various lighting elements adorned with acanthus leaves and two majestic fountains featuring a series of statuettes taken from the Sources de France (The springs of France) created for the 1925 exhibition.
