Created in 2014 with Zaha Hadid

Zaha Hadid (1950-2016), the internationally acclaimed Anglo-Iraqi architect and the first woman to win the Pritzker architecture prize, collaborated with Lalique on three creations: the Manifesto and Visio vases and the Fontana bowl.

« Glass and crystal have always fascinated me. When I was young, I collected glass pieces of all shapes, sizes and colours ». She saw Lalique as synonymous with fluidity and elegance that were both innovative and timeless, whilst respecting perfectly the integrity of the material and craftsmanship. Each piece celebrates the unique properties of crystal,

The sensual curves of Visio, Manifesto and Fontana reflect Zaha Hadid’s architectural work; the fluid, mineral lines, in constant movement, are perfectly characteristic of her style and are magnified by the contrast between the satin and polished finishes so emblematic of Lalique’s savoir-faire. These contemporary and timeless creations are available in clear crystal, black, midnight blue and fuchsia.
