The dance of the seasons
It has become tradition for the Lalique Museum to propose a new Happy Cristal exhibition every Christmas, in partnership with the Maison Lalique. Each year the event focuses on a new theme, giving visitors a fresh opportunity – in addition to the museum’s permanent collections – to discover the diversity of contemporary crystal creations.
In 2021 the Lalique Museum invites visitors to discover a succession of poetic scenes in which crystal lends its sparkle to the expression of the seasons. To the sound of Antonio Vivaldi’s famous concertos, revisit the charms of a spring stroll through vibrant cherry blossom ; in summer, indulge in a country walk and a chic picnic ; when autumn dawns, you’ll fall for the magic of the fabulous forests of France’s northern Vosges region ; and come winter, watch the snowdrops fall as you snuggle by the fireside in a cosy living room decked out for the Christmas festivities.
