La Maison Lalique remains one of France’s most prestigious producers of crystalware. The company was acquired in 2008 by the Swiss group, Arts et Fragrance, owned by Silvio Denz.
Unique know-how
From the molten glass gob through the hot and cold stages to the edition of the finished piece, the company continues to respect the tradition of René Lalique and his successors down to the finest detail. A number of Lalique’s artisans have been awarded the Meilleur Ouvrier de France distinction, and are proud to hand down their knowhow from generation to generation at Wingen-sur-Moder. This small village in the Northern Vosges region remains the only production site in the world for Lalique crystal, and the centre from which the Lalique name reaches out to the four corners of the earth.
Modernity and diversification
Lalique’s production covers five major areas: decorative objects, interior design, jewellery, perfumes and art. There is an in-house design studio, but its designers also work with famous artists to ensure the brand’s cultural heritage remains as vibrant as ever.
